In support of AE's Mideast Aikido Project–which encompasses Salaam Shalom Aikido and aid to vulnerable aikido communities in Iraq, the West Bank, and Ethiopia–Aikido of Berkeley (Kayla Feder, sensei) held a successful seminar last month. Five senseis from different aikido organizations (Feder, Frager , Holiday, Maida, and Zimron) donated stimulating instruction to an enthusiastic crowd of participants. Earlier in the month, AE members Jamie Zimron and Robin Cooper held a similar benefit at the latter's dojo in Madison-WI.
